Nepal Police have released a video of the 7.9 earthquake that reduced large portions of the country into rubble and left over 6,000 dead and another 14,000 injured.
The almost 3-minute long CCTV footage starts with the people of Kathmandu going about their daily business for a while before the earthquake hits. Seconds after the tremors start, chaos doubles as a gate falls on the people walking on the road and is reduced to dust.

Once the dust settles, people panic and run towards the open field adjacent to the sight. Some are seen trying to help those who are trapped under the fallen structure. Aftershocks continue at the end of the video as more and more people come out in the open.
