If there’s anything Virender Sehwag does as well as playing cricket, it’s trolling on Twitter and, of course, the Hindi brilliant commentary. Sehwag is known on the micro-blogging site for his funny one-liners and beyond-the-usual birthday wishes. We’re sure all the trolls on the Internet aim to reach Sehwag-level because he is probably the ultimate celebrity troll at the moment.

The latest to sample a dose of Sehwag-brand humour is New Zealand cricketer Ross Taylor.

It just so happened that a mysterious tweet went out from Taylor’s Twitter handle tagging Sehwag and fellow cricketer Suresh Raina. Just their handles and nothing else. All curious about what the tweet could mean, Sehwag tweeted out to Taylor asking, “What happened Taylor ji.. Why tagging without typing. Hope stitching going on fine and you getting many orders”.

Responding to the dig at his surname with a pleasant sense of humour, Taylor soon clarified that it was his five-year-old daughter Mackenzie who had somehow managed to tweet out to the two cricketers without his knowing; “haha. Sorry mate. Daughter had my phone. Hope your well,” he wrote.

Taylor, who was playing Test against Pakistan made 102 on the fourth day of the match, which he wasn’t even supposed to play because of his eye trouble. A growth in his left eye was discovered which needs to be surgically removed. Therefore, the conversation after trolling was all about pleasantries. Sehwag asked him if he was feeling better, to which, Taylor responded that he is getting his eye operated on Wednesday.

Now, that’s some lovely off-field banter between our favourite cricketers we don’t mind peeking in on.
