Virat Kohli was yet again lauded for his spectacular performance on the first day of the second Test match between India and England in Vizag. He shared a fantastic partnership with Cheteshwar Pujara of 226 runs. Though the there were some tense moments between during their partnership but the two were the stars on Day 1.

Before the tea break, the two had reached their 90s but what happened next delayed their century. A dog entered the field and was unstoppable. Despite people’s best efforts, the dog didn’t budge and continued to run on the field. Reportedly, it was the reason due to which tea break was announced early.

In no time, dog became the talking point on social media as he interrupted Stuart Broad’s over. It was amusing for people who couldn’t stop laughing to see a dog running around on the field which is accessible only for players and officials. In the video that has gone viral online, the dog can be seen being chased by the volunteers but to no avail.

Twitterati also couldn’t stop mocking the situation with tweets that read, “It’s amazing how a dog stopped the play” and “The dog saved England from embarrassment”.

Sample these.

And guess what, the dog has a Twitter account by the name Vizag Dog with the handle @VizagDog and over 400 followers. Also, it has promised to be back today.
