Have YOU noticed an eerie similarity between Google's location icon and Lord Vitthal's chandan tilak?

God, Google, Lord Vitthal, tilak, Google location icon, God's omnipresence, Swami Swatmananda, Chinmaya Mission, spirituality, religion, devotion,

Remember how you were taught as a child that God is everywhere? An acharya of the spiritual organisation Chinmaya Mission has now given ‘proof’ of that — in our very own Google-style!

Swami Swatmananda has found traces of God’s omnipresence in Google’s design values. He noticed a remarkable resemblance between the chandan tilak on the forehead of Lord Vitthal and Google location icon. In a post on Facebook, he says: “The chandan tilak on the forehead of Lord Vitthal and the Google location icon just match so closely (not that they copied it). It’s as if God symbolises that he is omnipresent and indicates wherever we go, whatever location we search, we shall always find Him and feel his presence.”

There are, of course, many schools of thought that connects mythology and modern-day scenarios, but even Google would not have anticipated this one. But then, maybe they would have?!

The Swami’s Facebook post was followed by varied responses. One praised his observation skills, “Swamiji you had the eye (jnana chakshu) to observe it.” Another praised Lord Vitthal instead, “Well said Swamiji. The success of Google is also Vithal’s blessings.” Yet another sought to analyse Swamiji’s observation, “What a fantastic observation and interpretation! Fabulous sythesis of Spirituality and Technology!”

One Facebook user came up with an interesting theory, “It is very much likely that the actual guy who designed the mark is an Indian and a devout one at that..!!”

If that be the case Google has to change it as Google must not use religions in apps

It is just a keen observation by Swami SwatmAnanda . It is good to see God everywhere. Omnipresent. Recently an atheist had interpreted the Tilak on Balaji's fore head vulgarly. That is his way of looking things. But those who are prudent chose the right one. That is Omnipresence of God.

Hinduism is DHARMA unlike christianity or Islam which are religions started by Jesus Christ or Mohammed Nabi. Irrespective of religion all human beings follow Dharma .God is Yad Bhavam Tad Bhavath - God in shape as you imagine and worship
