Sultan actor Salman Khan has apparently gone ahead and done it again. He’s made one of his characteristic faux pas, and there is very little that he can do this time to get himself out of this quagmire of his own making.

In an interview, which initially seemed like a Spotboye exclusive, Khan was talking about his hectic shooting schedule for Sultan, in which he plays a wrestler. While expounding on how gruelling the shoot was, Khan has been quoted as saying: “While shooting, during those six hours, there’d be so much of lifting and thrusting on the ground involved. That was tough for me because if I was lifting, I’d have to lift the same 120-kilo guy 10 times for 10 different angles. And likewise, get thrown that many times on the ground. This act is not repeated that many times in the real fights in the ring. When I used to walk out of the ring, after the shoot, I used to feel like a raped woman. I couldn’t walk straight. I would eat and then, head right back to training. That couldn’t stop.”

Now, we understand that after such a hectic schedule, coupled with a barrage of interviews, it can be difficult to think straight, but can anyone — let alone a public figure with such a huge fan following — be forgiven for making such a comparison?

It seemed like Spotboye had an exclusive one on one with Salman, but it was actually a group interaction as has come to light in an audio recording of the event, where Salman made the comment.

True to form, Twitterverse is abuzz with Khan’s comment, and people have minced no words to tweet out their opinion. Sample these:

But there were some fans, who came in support of the Dabangg actor. A film critic even claimed that Khan was misquoted.

We have not yet come across an official statement from Khan, but watch this space for further developments.

Interpretation makes a difference to the way we view the world. The gl is half full or the gl is half empty. Those who are munching on others lives by misinterpreting ignoring the intended meaning, belong to the half empty. God bless you to see the world in a simply simple way. Comparing ones pain with others' pain- how it can be interpreted as disrespect. If something brought tears in the eyes, it had touched the core. There was beyond. For some nota quarter nothing has relation to the core. ROBOTS. Just operate. Human beings still exist on this earth to live a simple life and to interpret simply. God bless all to see the beyond.

What do you expect? He is a murderer, for god's sake? Just because some brainless morons watch his movies doesnt make him a decent person. He has always been an untalented a-- and he always will. If he was in a movie industry where acting skill were more important than looks, he'd be unemplo. Fortunately, for him, he's in Bollywood.
