Ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the pre-November 9 currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 stand invalid, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has not missed any opportunity to criticise the move. He has shared his opinion against it on Twitter, released a Facebook video, and also held a press conference asking the PM to revoke the policy and apologise to all the people who are struggling for cash.

Responding to the media report, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter to share his utter shock at what the CM said. “Is this guy for real? Does he always talk like this? Suna tha, aaj tajurba ho gaya,” he wrote.

Going by his Twitter feed, Kapoor like many Bollywood actors has been lauding PM Modi and the government for demonetising Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 in a bid to curb corruption and black money in the country. The day Modi announced the move on November 8, Kapoor congratulated Modi. “PM Modi ji. Ball out of the stadium. Wohaaaaaa!!!! De monetisation is the right answer. Congratulations!” he tweeted.

In another tweet that spread like wildfire on social media, Kapoor wrote, “In the last 2 days, two of the world’s largest democracies have gone from black to white,” taking a dig at United States Presidential elections and the victory of Republican Donald Trump.
