Mumbai Police reunites elderly woman with family; Twitterati can’t stop praising their sincerity

Mumbai Police is known for the utmost dedication and sincerity it has shown towards the welfare of its citizens. The Mumbai Police has a very active Twitter handle that shares positive stories and life-lessons, and is followed by many. This time, the men in uniform helped an elderly woman unite with her family, and promptly shared the news on the micro-blogging site. Not surprisingly, love and respect came pouring in for them from all sides.

According to the Mumbai Police, the elderly woman is P Adhikari and was separated from her family four days before she was reunited with them. Though she was able to speak five different languages, owing to her weak memory, she failed to recollect where she lived or anything related to her family.

However, the Sakinaka police station officers managed to bring her back to her family members, in spite of her inability to remember anything. Their thoughtful action and timely intervention was lauded by many on Twitter. People appreciated how the Mumbai Police was sincere enough to ensure that the elderly woman reached home safely. With their timely updates on social media, Mumbai Police’s action ensured they became the Internet’s favourite Good Samaritan in no time.
