These 10 quotes of Shastriji are truely insightful and show a clear and sharp mind which is able to clear through the fog and pinpoint in few words the essence of governance, law and democracy. It is indeed unfortunate that he did not rule longer and died an untimely death. His simplicity and honesty would have left a lasting impression on India's population, and maybe today we would be less concieteful and dishonest.Current govt should learn by heart these 10 quotes.Preserve rule of law.Pursuit of science and scientific ideas with specific objectives as resources are scarce. Would Shastriji ,as a Rail Minister ,have gone for the bullet train? The answer is a definite ,NO!The cost over 5 years to repair and strengthen India's ageing rail track and signalling is under 1 lac Cr.The railways have kept on postponing urgent repairs due to lack of funds, resulting in numerous accidents with loss of life in last 2 months. The cost of bullet train is 1 lac Cr.Will serve the elite, rich who can fly
