People have been lauding the trailer of upcoming inspirational Bollywood film Dangal ever since it was released. The film is based on the real-life story about the wrestling champions, Phagot sisters who made India proud on many occasions. Actor Aamir Khan as Mahaveer Singh Phogat impressed the audience with his grit in the 3.25-minute trailer, but the actual stars who managed to seal a place in the hearts of the audience were the actors playing the roles of his daughters.

It’s not easy to clinch attention with Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist and TV queen Sakshi Tanwar, but Aamir Khan’s on-screen daughters — Zaira Wasim as Geeta Phogat and Suhani Bhatnagar as Babita Kumari – have won million hearts.

Initially portrayed as a man hungering for a son who can fulfill his unfinished dream of winning a gold for the country, the trailer ends on a beautiful note, ‘are girls any lesser than boys?’ Why a son? Because wrestling is a man’s sport and in Haryana, who would ever think a girl can play this sport?

Set to break many stereotypes and gender specific identities, the trailer certainly got a positively response. But something else piqued the audiences’ curiosity on social media platforms. The scene where the young debutant Zaira Wasim’s character proclaims “Ab dangal hoga” (Now it’s time for a real fight) has intrigued Twitterati to use the dialogue in various situation and we must say it is bang on.

From when you forget your girlfriend’s birthday to when your boss says come to office on weekend, the only reply anyone on Twitter has is – ‘Ab dangal hoga’.

The memes are so brilliant even the actor herself approved it. She’s a real sport, we must say.
