Kejriwal_PTI-

Remember the last time Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal wrote about Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi’s ride in Varanasi and got trolled on Twitter?

Something similar happened on June 10 when Kejriwal tweeted a couplet tagging Modi, perhaps referring to the ongoing Udta Punjab controversy where his party was rumoured to pay the filmmakers to malign the image of the incumbent regime.

The rumours being rumours were rebuked by the producer Anurag Kashyap.

The tweet went viral on social media and the hashtag #KejriwalShayaris sprang up on Twitter with people tweeting couplets in English and Hindi just like the CM himself. Well, Twitterati’s (many of whom could be right-wing trolls) response will crack you up!

MY father used to walk 1 km to buy the Indian Express newspaper. Such was the standard of its journalism then. The Indian Express of today, writes an article quoting the poetry written by paid BJP trolls.
