On November 17, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee held a public meeting at Azadpur Mandi, where the two lashed out at the Centre for the demonetisation drive started by the Centre against corruption and black money. The two then drive to Reserve Bank of India office at Parliament Street to inquire if the currency is available.

“How much currency needed? How much printed? What is capacity? How many more days will it take? Myself and Mamtadi at RBI to get this info,” Kejriwal tweeted. “Our main apprehension is shortage of currency. We are here to check whether there is enough cash to disburse among the people,” said Banerjee.

The two threatened to intensify their agitation if the government did not roll back its decision to discontinue old currency notes in three days. “If you have courage, send us to jail or shoot us…But we will continue fighting. If you have courage, send us to jail or shoot us…But we will continue fighting,” said the Trinamool Congress chief.

Meanwhile, Kejriwal is being massively trolled on Twitter after he shared a picture of the questions he said he gave to RBI.

And here’s what Twitterati had to say.

I m a common man. RBI should answer questions asked by AK . Common man have right to be acknowledged about cause of worst implementation. Why should I adjust with 2000 for 50 days . They should have managed to property allocate money and should have debarred old notes . Even now they change stance everyday . This is not kids businessman game . Real lives do matter . Stupidity of hurried implementation is killing weak citizens .

I cringe at this form of journalism. Photoshop journalism. In the garb of making fun of political opponents , all kinds of discrimination propagated - agianst AIDS, against women, against skin color. Indian Express published the twitter name of a bhakt "KFC Kalutosh" whose face is blackened. This is an insult to the original inhabitants of India and promotes supremacy of white Aryan brahmins.

How much fake currency and black money in currency was or is in circln? Do you really know? A 2016 report prepared by 2 reliable govt agencies declared that less than 1.5 percent that is INR 17000 crores of the total currency being circulated in w economy. For that fraction only a moron(if his intentions were right) would ban the 86% of the currency in circulation.

(1)Have you ever answered question except asking. (2) Don't you have any work as CM, when two CMs join together there must be something deeper than periphery to ask improper questions. (3) Leave alone Modiji, have you opened your SMS reality show to get feed back of Indian people since you have shifted the bhoomika of interest to Pak. (4) If you think your opinion is an iron rod against people and continue to fight you will end up as a Donquixote to select a windmill to fight.

Name the TWO RELIABLE GOVT AGENCY sources. Else, your argument would be dismissed as rants.

Those who spend time online have money (including me). The rest who cannot afford to do this are suffering. Fortunately we still have someone who is bringing out the plight of the rural folk who have no banks near them for many kilometers which have deliberately been kept short of money. Encourage such people as it can show the real stuff instead of the smokescreen created by the governments. Have at least some feeling of grief for these people who are simply trying not to die rather going ballistic for the ruler who anyway has all the powers to do whatever he pleases

If I haven't I wouldn't be butting in... If he is some other babus I could understand his illiteracy but those who come from a studious background and making fool out of himself by asking those questions like how it helps.... puts me a question ... even though I don't want to generalise but out of dissatisfaction. What ever policy that is running in the country is running on the principle of Utilitarianism. He should understand that. Instead if he had raised the issue of in adequate backup provision as the centrality of his campaign it would be a positive critic but rolling back demonetisation... puts lot of questions .. does is he the real AK who did dharna along with Anna for Anticorruption and RTI....? Or is he backed loads of cash in his current term..? If u have only 500 rupees how can he donate 1Cr from taxpayers money 10L reasonable but 1Cr .. is he joined the elite group of the so called Babus...? Let's see. I'm also a civils aspirant and writing mains this time...we will see does these kind of babus quality or us.

There were lot of rumours circulating around that some bank employees are deliberately keeping the lakes of 100 rupee notes in reserve and black marketing it.. like for 1000 they are returning 700/800. And deliberately not loading the cash in ATMs to make out money. The recent questions raised by mr Aravind Kejriwal not only degraded the IIT-K but also all the CIVILS aspirants and Those who r working in IRS. I still wonder how he cleared Civils..?lt;br/gt;There is no doubt some shortsighted issues but it could be rectified if alternative measures are streamlined properly...

Mr Kejriwal is a lier. At first he has cheated anna hazare and people of delhi. has he ever fought on any single issue for the sake of delhi ppl. Now he's fighting against big notes ban... My suggestion to kejriwal is that u have so many issues to solve in your state First address them and come for support black money holders.
