The tragic shooting in Las Vegas that killed at least 59 people and injured over 500 left people across the world numb. This is deadliest mass shooting in modern US history. The gunman, who shot at people from the 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino was identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, who was found dead in the hotel room before authorities arrived. While world leaders and personalities took to the Internet, especially Twitter, to condemn the attack and extend their support to the ones affected, the President of the United States made news for going on record to say something completely off and bizarre. A video of Trump calling what happened in Vegas “in many ways a miracle” has gone viral. He also took to Twitter to post this — “It is a “miracle” how fast the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police were able to find the demented shooter and stop him from even more killing!”

Internet was obviously, far from pleased at his responses.

Watch the video here.

This is Trump’s tweet.

Here is how many responded to his tweet which “lacked empathy” — as a Twitter user pointed out.

This came right after Trump’s “warmest condolences” tweet which did not go down well with many people.
