Grandfathers are a funny lot. Either, they are too strict because they cannot bear to see you doing anything wrong, or, they’re read to pamper you left, right and centre! Of course, there are those who end up being both. This five-month-old little girl, however, happens to have been blessed with a grand-dad ready to shower her with gifts without batting an eye-lid, And that’s exactly what happened when he ended up gifting her the largest teddy bear stuff toy that is humanly possible. While it might sound and seem all normal to you, it is an absolute far cry from all that.
It all started when Sabrina Gonzalez’s dad, who works at Costco, a supermarket in the United States and Canada, posed with some absolutely huge stuff toys at the store. Sabrina was amused at her father’s upload and commented on the photo that her daughter “Maddie needs one of those!”
Little did Sabrina know that her father, who we now think is officially the coolest granddad, would not think twice before landing up at their doorstep with the enormous teddy bear. “Next thing I know, I receive a text from him saying he bought her one,” Gonzalez told BuzzFeed News.
And when we said that the teddy bear was huge, we actually meant it. They are so huge, that Gonzalez clicked a photo of little Maddie cozying up around the foot of the teddy bear, and that was all the space that she took to get comfortable with her new toy!
The mother, from San Jose, California, reportedly said that her little one can’t stop smiling when she is around the huge stuff toy her grandfather decided to get her. She shared a photo of Maddie with her latest toy on Twitter and since then, the five-month-old girl and her grandpa is winning hearts on the Internet.
