In case you are planning to head to the Austrian Alps for your next vacation, chances are you might stumble upon a giant phallus on the top of the Otscher peak. Well, relax, it did not grow on its own, but it seems somebody decided to install the wooden penis on the top of the peak as their idea of a joke and as a result has garnered the attention of the hikers making it to the top of the Alps.

According to a report by New York Post, the ‘odd tribute’ to the phallus stands at a height of over 6,200 feet and has left people wondering how the ‘genius’ managed to carry the installation up till the peak. Apparently, it was spotted by a longtime hiker first who declared it the ‘peak’s new mascot’.

Made with wood, it stands several feet tall, with a foundation bed of rocks at its base. And if you are planning to get a glimpse of the now-famous installation, you’d probably want to prepone your vacations because ski lift operators in the area have warned it might just fall down when the next storm hits.
