Hewlett Packard today expanded its notebook portfolio by launching thin and light Ultrabook and Sleekbooks models in Chandigarh.
Ranjivjit Singh,Chief Marketing Officer HP India Sales Private Limited told here today that significant part of HP business comes from the north region. Chandigarh alone currently contributes 1.5 per cent of total business from north. Punjab and Haryana contribute 2.1 per cent each,with north India contributing about 30 per cent of the business from the country.

He informed that overall HPs market share has gone up to 14.9 per cent as against 13 per cent in 2011. HP grew by 23.1 per cent in first quarter of 2012 as against the overall client market growth of 7.7 per cent during this period.
As thin as 0.78 inches and starting from 1.75-kilos,the new HP ENVY notebooks feature a soft-touch,slip-resistant base in black or red,making them easy to grab and go. The HP ENVY Ultrabook,Envy 4 available in 14 inch and Envy 6 available in 15.6-inch diagonal display sizes includes the latest 3rd generation Intel Core processors and offers up to eight or nine hours of battery life.
The HP Envy Ultrabook range will be available at a starting price of Rs 57990 while HP Envy Sleekbook range would come at a starting price of Rs 41990
