Vodafone India today said it will offer the latest iPhone 6s and 6s Plus from October 16 wherein customers can avail free data and voice benefits worth Rs 8,885 for six months.

“Existing or new Vodafone customers can buy a new iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus and get a fully built Vodafone RED 1,299 worry-free plan free for six months from the time of purchase,” the company said in a statement. The plan includes 3 GB mobile Internet, 4,000 free local and STD minutes and 1,500 local and national SMS.

The company said charges above plan limits will be 50p/MB for data usage, 50p/SMS and 50p/min for voice calls. Roaming, international calling and VAS charges will be extra as applicable, it added.

The latest iPhone series will be available in India from October 16 at a starting price of Rs 62,000 and at Rs 92,000 for the top model.

The two models iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s plus come in three versions in terms of storage: 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. The launch price of both the phones is about Rs 10,000 higher than the iPhone 6 series that the company launched a year ago, as per details shared by the distribution firm Beetel Teletech.
