Vodafone today announced a postpaid plan with unlimited roaming voice calling and 8 GB data at pocket pinch of Rs 1,999 per month. The company said a variant of this plan is also available at Rs 1,699 which offers free roaming (incoming calls only), unlimited voice calling and 6 GB data.
“The postpaid customer’s usage behaviour has evolved significantly with higher usage of roaming and data. With the new Vodafone RED we are offering our postpaid customers an all-in-one plan that addresses their roaming, data, and voice needs comprehensively,” Vodafone director (commercial) Sandeep Kataria said.
Airtel recently launched its ‘myPlan Infinity’ plan that offers unlimited voice calling for postpaid users starting at Rs 1,199. This plan includes local, STD and roaming calls, and will be available for all its postpaid customers.
For Rs 1,199 users will get 100 free SMS each day, enjoy unlimited free calling, free subscription to Wynk Movies/Wynk Music and 1GB of 3G/4G data. The company’s Rs 1,599 plan will offer everything the Rs 1,199 plan does, but with 5GB of 3G/4G data. The highest plan available is for Rs 2,999 that offers 20GB of data.
BSNL recently offered unlimited free voice calling to any landline or mobile number pan-India on all Sundays starting from August 15. The company also offers free unlimited night calling to any network in the country between 9am and 7am.
Aircel had also announced a special Independence day offer for its users – ‘Aircel KaAzaadi Offer’ at Rs 123, allowing unlimited calling to local networks and unlimited data with one day validity.
