A user can activate the plan via SMS, on the company’s website or through USSD. To activate-

Using the link for the website, we selected clicked on the ‘Calculate now’ option, which redirected us to a page to make our plan. We selected seven days of international roaming in US, with 10 minutes of calls received in a day, 10 minutes of calls within US, 10 minutes worth of calls outside the country and 5 hours of Internet use per day. The website calculated charges of Rs 10,500 for the entire trip, which is still a significant amount. However, Vodafone’s website points out this international pack helps a user save much more compared to Rs 1,05,350 that would have applied as a standard charge.
