Tata Docomo’s offer stands to give a user 1GB of data for Rs 50, which is equivalent to what Reliance Jio promised when it was first launched back in September. Following the announcement, large telecom operators like Airtel, Vodafone and Idea have offered similar deals.

Reliance Jio gives free unlimited 4G data to users until December 31, 2017, while also giving them unlimited voice calling and national roaming. The announcement is expected to be made on December 28.
