Lenovo and Motorola in a conference showcased the upcoming mobile technologies that will change smartphone elements like battery, camera etc for better. The two brands have combined their innovation resources in order to work upon the biggest pain points of a smartphone user.
World’s fastest charging, software enhancements and smart camera technology were among few demonstrations at the event. The super quick charging technology will provide up to 8 hours of usage with 15 minutes of charging.
The Mobile business group president, Chen Xudong hosted the conference. “India is an extremely important market for Lenovo. Over the last two years, our innovations have seen tremendous success in the Indian market and this has enabled us to reach the number 4 position last quarter,” Xudong said.
Lenovo displayed its smartcast concept phone that can project the phone’s display on any surface. The smartphone also lets users touch and interact with projections. It uses IR sensors which can be used to project keyboards on table and play games.
“Indian Smartphone consumers are very discerning, and we need to people to develop products that delight them every single day, in every single interaction,” Kouji Kodera, Senior Vice President, Product management, Motorola Mobility said.
The world mobile leaders also demonstrated software and hardware innovations like Active Display, which shows important notifications at a glance; and Moto Voice which enables unparalleled control over the device via voice commands.
