Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg keeps himself safe from potential hackers with a tape. Yes, a piece of tape is all that Zuckerberg needs to keep people from spying on him.
Mark Zuckerberg recently posted a picture of himself, celebrating over 500 million users on Instagram. In the background, we can see what is Zuckerberg’s desk with his MacBook, where the webcam and microphone are covered with tape.
Twitter user Chris Olson noticed the tape on Zuckerberg’s MacBook first. He tweeted out saying, “3 things about this photo of Zuck: Camera covered with tape, Mic jack covered with tape, Email client is Thunderbird.” Check out the tweet here:

Gizmodo put out a report saying, “Sophisticated hackers are able to secretly take control of a laptop camera, so Zuckerberg is beating any would-be hackers to the punch by rendering the webcam useless with a piece of tape.”
According to The Next Web, FBI Director James Comey also relies on the same method to keep hackers away. The site says the method is lot simpler than implementing software alternatives.
Zuckerberg, recently became a target of cybercriminals when his Twitter and Pinterest passwords were hacked. Developer Ben Hall had tweeted about the hack, “Ouch. Mark Zuckerberg’s social media accounts have been hacked.” He also posted pictures of the hacked Pinterest and Twitter accounts.
