Uber is rolling out a new feature in its mobile app that will allow riders to send compliments that are more personal than leaving them a 5-star rating. Uber wants you as a rider to have the ability to give that little extra feedback to the driver who made your ride that much more enjoyable.

Uber says that a compliment like that will show up on the driver’s home screen, allowing them to know exactly how they made the rider’s day. Riders will be able to send stickers like “Great car!”, “Awesome DJ” and more to their drivers at the end of a trip. The feedback section of a driver’s app will tally all the compliments they have received.

“We want to give riders the opportunity to thank and recognize drivers for the things they do to make the experience more memorable and fun. Because sometimes the little things make all the difference, and 5 stars doesn’t quite cut it. We get that, and while we know there’s always more we can do to improve the driving experience, we figured what better time than now to make it easier to say “thank you” to the drivers who help us get from A to B every day,” Uber said in an online post on its website.

Uber had decided to complete revamp its app earlier this month. The new app according to the company is designed to ‘learn from your routines’, and equipped to give predictions to users on where they might be headed.

Not only does the app have a new redesigned logo, but also comes with new features like ‘Destination first’, ‘Shortcuts’, ‘Calendar Integration’, ‘People Search’ and ‘Choose car, compare fare upfront’.
