With close to three lakh registered users, Testbook, an EdTech startup by six IITians to provide premium personalised education, has now launched a free mobile app to help engineering students find their dream jobs.

Testbook app has as many as three lakh registered users who have together solved 2.5 crore questions in just 20 months. The app has garnered as many as 50,000 downloads in the three months since its launch, says Ashutosh Kumar, who founded Testbook.com in 2014.

The other founders are Narendra Agrawal, Manoj Munna and Praveen Agrawal from IIT Bombay, and Abhishek Sagar and Yadvendar Champawat from IIT Delhi.

“One of the courses we have is ‘Placement Aptitude’, which provides students the opportunity to crack their dream jobs,” says Ashutosh.

Divyanshu Lahoti, a final year engineering student from Engineering College, Kota in Rajasthan, says, “This placement aptitude course which comprises English comprehension, quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning, has helped me quite a bit. I have learned how to present myself.”

Ganesh Pawar, a final year engineering student who is preparing for the GATE exam, said that students can choose one or more courses from among GATE, Placement Aptitude, Bank PO and Current Affairs.
