Netflix has announced the availability of Netflix Recommended TV globally. The Netflix Recommended TV helps users identify smart TVs that offer better performance and easier menu navigation to improve Internet TV service experience.
Netflix, for 2016 has introduced a new criteria and faster performance thresholds. By making Netflix Recommended TV global, the company will easily be able to tell users about smart TVs for Netflix and other Internet TV services in their country.
Also, the first TVs to achieve the Netflix Recommended TV designation for 2016 models are LG (UHD TVs with webOS 3.0) and Sony ( Android 4K UHD TVs). These TVs have have Instant On, Internet TV services and smart menu features. The devices also come with TV Resume, which opens Netflix app, when turned on if it was the last used app.
