Netflix has revamped its logo for its social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter. The new Netflix icon now has a red ribbon design folded in the ‘N’ on a black background. This new N’ design won’t replace the full Netflix logo for now.
Netflix confirmed this is not their new logo. The company in a tweet said, “Not a new logo! The N is an icon and a new creative element to live with our logo. The current Netflix logo is here to stay :)” Check it out here:

Netflix, however did not deny the possibility that the new icon will be integrated in all of their products in the future. This includes their website and mobile apps. A Netflix spokesperson told The Verge, “The icon will start to be incorporated into our mobile apps along with other product integrations in the near future.”
“The company is still using that full “Netflix” word mark for press materials and teasers around shows like Orange is the New Black,” says the website.
It has been two years since Netflix changed its logo to the current one. The company unveiled a new one in 2014. While, the current logo is more clean and minimal, the earlier one had Netflix written on a red background.
Netflix services for India went live in January this year, with subscription rates starting Rs 500 per month, going all the way up to Rs 800 per month for a premium service with access to Ultra HD content.
