Microsoft’s Windows 10 will have the ‘middle-finger’ emoji: report

Microsoft has gone ahead and included the ‘middle-finger’ emoji as part of Windows 10.The middle-finger emoji (the official name is Reversed Hand with Middle finger Extended) was added as a part of Unicode 7.0 last year.

While Microsoft has taken the bold step of introducing this emoji (it comes in various skins tones to keep in mind racial diversity), iOS, OS X and Android have still kept this one out, despite requests from many users.

According to Emojipedia, which first spotted the update, Windows 10 brings with it skin tone modifiers, “a sassier information desk person” in the latest emoji updates.

Also Windows 10 will have default skin tone of emojis as a generic gray colour in order to go with a race-neutral colour-tone. In addition to this, Windows 10 has a choice of five skin tones for emojis.

Microsoft Windows 10 will launch in the second half of 2015.
