Sony Xperia XZ is the latest flagship from Japanese smartphone maker. Sony Xperia XZ was first showcased at IFA 2016 in Berlin and was recently launched in India at an event in Udaipur. Sony Xperia XZ combines the trademark design style of Xperia lineup with an all new camera system.
Sony Xperia XZ features a 5.2-inch full HD display and becomes the only Android flagship yet to jump to Quad HD resolution game. Sony Xperia XZ’s display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass with support for company’s triluminos display technology powered by X-Reality Bravia engine. Sony Xperia XZ is 8.1mm thick and weighs 161 grams.
The Xperia XZ is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 820 processor and gets 3GB RAM, 32 or 64GB storage under the hood. The graphics duty on Xperia XZ is taken care of by Adreno 530 GPU. Sony Xperia XZ’s main attraction is the new 23MP primary camera. The rear camera uses a 23MP image sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 24mm wide-angle lens. The primary camera uses phase detection and laser autofocus with LED flash.
Sony Xperia XZ is also the first smartphone to feature 5-axis image stabilisation. There is also a 13MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture for low-light selfies. Sony Xperia XZ supports 24-bit lossless audio with active noise cancellation. The smartphone is backed by a 2,900mAh battery with support for fast charging.
Sony Xperia XZ like all recent flagships uses USB-C port for charging and data transfer. Sony Xperia XZ is available for purchase from Amazon India at Rs 49,990 but do read our first impressions before buying the device.
