After a delay of a month or so, the Smartron t-phone will be available for sale from July 28. Priced at Rs 22,999, this designed in India phone will try and offer high-end specs and experience at a much affordable price point.
Smartron t-phone is based on Android Marshmallow V 6.0.1 powered and is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor V2.1 with Octa-core CPUs. It is backed by 4GB LPDDR4 @ 1600 MHZ. The smartphone will come in colour options like Classic Grey, Metallic Pink, Sunrise Orange and Steel Blue.
Smartron t-phone has a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD 401 PPI super AMOLED display with Gorillas Glass 3. The company assures that it has pushed the limits when it comes to durability and conducted multiple stress tests on the phone.
The phone feels very light and is among the thinnest devices you will use, this despite the fact that the phone weighs 149 gm which is a bit on the heavier side. T-phone will come with 64GB inbuilt memory expandable via SD card slot. The company is also offering unlimited tcloud and seamless backup.
The phone has a 13MP rear camera with an ISOCELL sensor, dual flash and 6 element lens. The front camera is a 4 megapixel with large 2µm pixel size.
Smartron t-phone has dual-SIM suport with micro and nano slots. The 3000mAh high-density lithium-ion battery comes with a Type C charger offering Quick Charge 2.0.
Smartron had first launched a tbook, which is a 12.2-inch convertible laptop that features a 2 GHz Intel Core M 5Y10c processor, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD hard drive, Integrated Intel HD 5300 Graphics and Windows 10. The tbook was later made available on Amazon.in and with offline vendors and was priced at Rs 42,999.
