Oppo has introduced an upgraded version of its F1s smartphone. The new variant comes with 4GB RAM, as opposed to 3GB in the earlier model. Oppo has bumped up the internal storage as well which now stands at 64GB. Oppo F1s now comes in grey colour variant as well and triple-slot card tray that supports two nano 4G SIM cards and a microSD card. The smartphone is priced at Rs 18,990. Additionally, Oppo is giving away limited edition Dr Strange cover to the first 50,000 buyers of the F1s.
Rest of the features remain same as the earlier variant of Oppo F1s. The F1s is a part of company’s line-up of ‘Selfie-Expert’ smartphones. The highlight of Oppo F1s is its 16MP front camera, which comes with Beautify 4.0 and 1/3.1-inch customised sensor. The rear camera is 13MP.
Oppo F1s has a 5.5-inch HD display and runs ColorOS 3.0 on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is powered by an octa-core MT6750 processor. Oppo says the 64GB ROM will give users extra space to store more than 10,000 photos. Oppo F1s is backed by a 3,075 mAh battery.
Oppo F1s features a front-facing fingerprint sensor. Users can assign up to five different fingerprints to different apps and contact. Oppo claims the sensor recognises a fingerprint to unlock the phone in 0.22 seconds. Users can launch an app or start a phone call with one touch of the home button.
The older variant of Oppo F1s is priced at Rs 17,990. The upgraded Oppo F1s will start selling by the end of November and will be available in Oppo stores across the country in the coming days. The smartphone is Amazon exclusive online.
