Oppo has today launched a special edition Oppo F1s Diwali edition in India. The special edition phone feature autographs of the company’s brand ambassadors – Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor. The Diwali edition F1s will also include a specially designed theme around Diwali. The price of the device, Rs 17,990 – the same price as the standard edition when it was launched in August this year.

It is needless to say that the USP of the Oppo F1s is the phone’s 16MP front camera that comes with Beautify 4.0. There are seven beautify levels to the Beautify 4.0. The rear camera on the device is 13MP.

Oppo F1s comes with a 5.5-inch HD display (Corning Gorilla Glass 4) and is powered by an Octa-core 64-bit MT6750 processor coupled with a Mali-T869MP2 GPU. The phone is running on 3GB RAM and comes with 32GB internal storage (expandable to 256GB via microSD card slot).

The phone is running ColorOS 3.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, and is backed by a 3075 mAh non-removable battery. Oppo F1s is dual SIM and supports connectivity via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The phone comes with a distance sensor, light sensor, G-sensor and an E-compass. Oppo claims that the phone’s fingerprint scanner can unlock the device in just 0.22 seconds.

The special edition phone will be available in Gold colour. Pre-orders for the device will start October 8 – 13. The phone will become available for sale on October 14 on Snapdeal and Oppo exclusive stores. With the launch of F1s Diwali edition in India, the company is trying to tap in to the festive season that mostly sees a rise in smartphone sales.
