Global handset major ZTE used the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona to launch the Grand Memo II LTE, an ultra slim LTE smartphone.
With a 6-inch IPS display, the 7.2mm device will run ZTE’s unique MiFavor 2.3 user interface (UI).The MiFavor UI brings elegant design features to the Google Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, including integration with functions such as notebook, calendar, weather forecast, alarm clock, Internet, and music.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, the Grand Memo II promises performance that will enable consumers to take advantage of LTE and high speed mobile internet. The ZTE Grand Memo II LTE follows last year’s launch of the Grand Memo LTE. The device will first launch in April in China, followed by simultaneous launches in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.
ZTE also launched Open C and Open II, among the first Firefox OS phones. The company expects to ship over a million Firefox OS phones before the end of 2014.
