Lenovo has launched the Moto Z, Moto Z Plus smartphones today along with four modular attachments and two style shells. Moto Z, and Moto Z Force were unveiled at Lenovo’s event at IFA 2016 last month. Moto Z Play is priced at Rs 24,999 and the Moto Z at Rs 39,999. The Moto Mods that have been launched with the phones will help transform the device to whatever is required of it; may that be a better stereo speaker, a projector or an improved camera.
Moto Mods are designed to magnetically attach to the Moto Z Play and Moto Z, for an added functionality. Potential buyers can bundle buy these Mods separately or at a reduced price as part of different bundles.
The Incipio offGrid Power pack will give a user 22 hours of additional battery life, and is compatible across the entire Moto Z family of smartphones. The power pack also gives an option to charge the device wirelessly. The power pack will be available for Rs 5,999, but can be bought for Rs 4,999 as a bundle.
You can give the phone speakers a boost with the powerful stereo sound from the JBL SoundBoost. The speaker Mod will be priced at Rs 6,999, but will be available for Rs 5,999 as a bundle.
The Moto Insta-Share Projector is capable of projecting a video or a movie on a 70-inch screen, and is priced at Rs 19,999. The projector mod will be available for Rs 15,999 when bought as part of a bundle.
The camera Mod for the Moto Z series has been developed by Hasselblad, which allows users to take pictures with up to 10x optical zoom to capture image details without reducing image resolution. Users will also be able to capture images in RAW format, and enjoy control with Hasselblad’s Phocus editing software. The camera mod is available for Rs 19,999, but can be bought for Rs 14,999 as part of the bundle pack.
The snap on ‘Wooden and ballistic nylon’ shell is priced at Rs 1,099, which will be available at Rs 899 in a bundle. The leather shell is priced at Rs 1,599 and cost a user Rs 1,299 as part of a bundle.
