Meizu has announced the launch of its M3 Max today. The phone features a 6-inch full HD touch display with a 1920×1080 pixels resolution with 368 pixels per inch. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset with an Octa-core 1.8GHz CPU, coupled with a Mali T860 HPU. The dual SIM phone accepts only Nano SIM cards.
Meizu M3 Max will come with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, which is expandable via microSD. The rear camera on the device is 13MP, with a 5MP camera for the front. The phone is backed by a 4,100 mAh battery that also support fast charging. The physical touch button on the front will also be equipped with a fingerprint sensor. It will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Flyme OS 5.2, and will offer 4G VoLTE.
The phablet measures in at 163.4 x 81.6 x 7.94mm and weighs 189 grams. The phone will be able to get up to 45 per cent charge within 30 minutes of charging from zero. Connectivity to the phone includes LTE, 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Sensors on the phone include Ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, Gyroscope and Accelerometer.
Meizu M3 Max is priced at 1699 Yuan (approx Rs 17,000) on the company’s China website and will go on sale on September 15 in China. The phone will be available in four colour options – Rose Gold, Grey, Champagne Gold, and Silver. The phone has only been announced in China right now, with no details on a global launch. Pre-orders for the device in China will start on September 12.
Meizu just last month, launched its first smartwatch in China – Meizu Mix. The watch is priced at 1000 Yuan (approx Rs 10,000) for the denim strap and 1500 Yuan (approx Rs 15,000). It features a 42mm screen dial which is protected by Sapphire Glass.
