LG Stylus 2 with pen launched at Rs 19,500 in India

LG has announced the launch of Stylus 2 smartphone at Rs 19,500. The smartphone will be available in the Indian market from May 18.

LG Stylus 2 features a 5.7-inch HD In-Cell display with a pixel resolution of 1280 x 720. It is 7.4mm thin and weighs 145gm. In terms of design, the smartphone has a protruded flat display, spin hairline pattern on the back and metallic frames on its edges.

LG Stylus 2 comes with a pen, which has a nano-coated tip for more accuracy. It has a couple of new features like Pen Pop, Pen Keeper and a Calligraphy Pen font. The smartphone sports a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera.

It provides both big screen and premium note taking functions at a reasonable price. As continuous celebration of ‘Make in India’ program by LG, all LG Stylus2 buyers shall be given the LG Signature interactive smart cover, free,” Amit Gujral, Marketing Head, Mobiles, LG India said.

LG Stylus 2 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM (expandable up to 2TB via microSD card). It is backed by a 3,000mAh removable battery.

It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports 4GLTE with VoLTE, GSM, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 and USB 2.0. LG Stylus 2 will be available in titan, white and brown colour variants.
