Lenovo has launched its P70 and A5000 smartphones in India. The Lenovo A5000 smartphone is priced at Rs 9,999 while the P70 costs Rs 15,999. Both the devices run on Android 4.4 KitKat OS.

Lenovo P70 is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6752) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and Mali T760-MP2 GPU. It offers a 5-inch 720p HD display and comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. It sports a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel fixed-focus front-facing camera.

It measures 142×71.8×8.9mm and weighs 149 grams. The Lenovo P70 packs an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. It is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery. Lenovo claims that the Quick Charge feature of the smartphone allows it to get fully charged in 3 hours while a 15-minute charge offers up to 4 hours of talk time.

Lenovo A5000 is also powered by a 4,000 mAh battery and sports a 5-inch 720p HD IPS display The A5000 runs on MediaTek MT6582 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage expandable upto 32 GB. The device has a 2MP font camera and 8 MP rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash. It is a dual-SIM phone.
