Lava today launched its Iris Fuel 60 smartphone at a price of Rs 8,888. Powered by a 4,000 mAh battery, Lava claims to provide 32 hours of 2G talktime on a single charge, which takes about 3 hours 15 minutes.

The Fuel 60 runs on a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 CPU with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB. The smartphone runs on stock Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. The phone will be upgraded to Android L in future.

It sports a 5-inch 720p IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and mounts a 10MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 2MP front camera. The device comes with two regular SIM card slots, WiFi, Bluetooth and OTG support.

The smartphone will be available starting December 25
