Intex has announced two new budget smartphones at the ongoing India Gadgetz Expo 2016. The newly announced Aqua Craze II and Aqua 5.5 VR comes bundled with attractive value added services and unique features. The Aqua 5.5 VR and Aqua Craze II are priced at Rs 5,099 and 5,990 respectively. Intex Aqua 5.5 VR will be available exclusively on Flipkart from October 19 while Craze II will be available through retail channels.
The Intex Aqua 5.5 VR and Aqua Craze II are VoLTE enabled smartphones and will support Reliance Jio’s Welcome Offer. The Aqua 5.5 VR comes with a 5.5-inch HD display while the Craze II gets a smaller 5-inch HD display. Intex Aqua 5.5 VR is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. The smartphone sports a 5MP rear camera with dual LED flash while the front camera is again a 5MP one with single LED flash.

After extensive research and user inputs, we developed the Aqua 5.5 VR & Aqua Craze II that promise to deliver improved quality of selfies as well as multitasking and better connectivity. On the other hand, the Aqua Craze II is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. The Aqua 5.5 VR and Aqua Craze II are backed by a 2,800mAh and 2,500mAh battery respectively. The Aqua 5.5 VR and Aqua Craze II come bundled with Intex’s in-house VAS named LFTY. The service offers a single screen access for multiple utilities and content categories like muic, video, news, shopping, twitter, weather, etc.
The Matrabhasha feature allows users to tweet, text and post in over 21 Indian regional languages. Intex Aqua 5.5 VR and Aqua Craze II come pre-loaded with VAS benefits worth Rs 2,849.
