HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle launched in India at Rs 15,990; sale starts September 30

HTC has announced the launch of Desire 10 Lifestyle in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 15,990 and will be available from September 30 on Amazon India and HTC e-store.

With Desire 10, HTC is bringing some of the features found on its flagship HTC 10 down to the mid-range segment. HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle is the smaller sibling of recently announced Desire 10 Pro and brings company’s iconic BoomSound speakers back. HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle is 7.7mm thick and weighs 155 grams. The smartphone is 4G LTE enabled and supports Dual SIM card slots.

HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle features a 5.5-inch 720p HD Super LCD display with Gorilla Glass protection. The display offers pixel density of 267ppi. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.

HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle features a 13MP main camera with f/2.2 aperture and 28mm wide-angle focal length. The primary camera uses BSI sensor with support for HDR and continuous shooting mode. There is 5MP front camera with f/2.8 aperture and support for 1080p video recording. The front camera also supports auto selfie, voice selfie and live make-up feature.

HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle features BoomSound Hi-Fi edition with support for hi-resolution audio. The smartphone supports dolby audio with dual microphone for noise cancelation. HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Sense UI on top of it. The smartphone is backed by a 2,700mAh battery rated at up to 7 hours of internet use on WiFi.

The battery supports power saving mode and Qualcomm’s fast charging technology. At Rs 15,990, HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle will have a tough sell against Moto G4 Plus and Lenovo’s recently launched Z2 Plus.
