Apple is reportedly planning to launch not two but three new iPhones this year. Some reports indicate that Apple will launch iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro, and the third one is reported to get a dual rear camera setup. Now popular YouTuber Lewis Hilsenteger has posted video of an iPhone 7 Plus mockup on his channel Unbox Therapy.

According to him, the mockup device is from China and is based on some trusted sources familiar with the final design of the product. Apple iPhone 7 Plus, shown in the video not only features dual rear camera setup but also comes in a new Blue colour design. Earlier this week, a Blue colour variant of iPhone 7 was teased by Chinese telecom major China Unicomm, which is one of the launch partners of Apple’s iPhones in China.

It is totally unclear whether Apple plans to launch two or three iPhones this year. While earlier reports suggested at iPhone 7 Pro getting dual rear camera setup, Lewis Hilsenteger has shown iPhone 7 Plus to get that camera treatment. At this moment, it is also unclear how Apple plans to implement the dual rear camera setting. While LG has used dual rear cameras as separate image sensors on its LG G5 for normal and wide angle views, Huawei opted to use one for monochrome reproduction with its P9. Recently, Xiaomi announced Redmi Pro with dual camera setup which allows refocus after the image is shot.

Apple iPhone 7 is likely to be powered by A10 chipset and will come with redesigned Antenna layout. The mockup device also confirms Apple dropping 3.5mm headphone jack in favour of dual stereo speaker setup. A Wall Street Journal report also claimed the new iPhones will be water-resistant and slimmer than the previous iPhone 6s.

However, analysts report peg big changes as being kept for the iPhone 8, which marks the tenth year of the Apple iPhone anniversary. Analysts indicate Apple could launch an all glass version of the iPhone, with an OLED display, and improved camera specifications, along with a revamped design. Whether the dual-rear camera set up is included with the iPhone 7 series or not is another rumour that will be closely watched when the iPhone launches in September.

Apple iPhone 7 could be up for pre-order on September 9, according to tweets by Evan Blass, who runs the Twitter account @evleaks. This means the iPhone launch could take place either a week before or on September 4, given pre-orders start some days after the official event.
