Apple showed off Pokemon Go on Apple Watch even before showing the new Watch. Pokemon GO app will now come to Apple Watch, allowing you to play the game right on your watch.
Niantic Labs CEO, John Hanke, walked out on the stage and demoed the new Watch based app. First things first, Pokémon Go has been downloaded more than 500 million times. The trainers have walked more than 4.6 billion kilometers while playing the game, says Niantic CEO.
With the new update, Apple watch will show you walking distance and time duration and calories burnt, also shows pokémon nearby. Tap on screen when pokéstop appears, also tells you details about the pokéstop, you can swipe in the watch itself to win rewards from pokéstops.. You can see the hatch of pokémon in the watch.
With the summary screen, Pokemon Go players can see all the activity, and all items collected on the way. The Apple Watch app will certainly help you catch them all.
