ZTE has launched a new Axon Watch, and the Axon phone in China.
The ZTE Axon phone has a a fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM support, 128GB of internal memory (expandable to 256GB), and Corning’s Antimicrobial Gorilla Glass. The device runs ZTE’s UI MiFavor 3.2 and has ZTE’s Smart Voice which supports voice translation for English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Thai and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
According to ZTE, the China version of the Axon phone can be unlocked with three different biometric options: fingerprint, voice control and eye-scan.
The phone will be available for pre-order in China on July 21 via ZTE’s online store and Chinese e-commerce site JD.com. Two Axon phone versions are available: 128GB and 32GB version with two colour options: Ion Gold and Chromium Silver.
Other features of the Axon phone are: 5.5-inch 2K screen (2560×1440 pixels) which comes to 534 ppi, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor 64-bit clocked at 2Ghz, a 3000 mAh battery, 4GB DDR4 RAM and 13 megapixel rear camera and 8 megapixel front camera.
ZTE Axon Watch
ZTE Axon Watch comes with a 1.4-inch Gorilla Glass screen with sapphire coating and is IP67 certified. Additionally it has a 300 mAh battery, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB storage and Bluetooth 4.1. The smartwatch runs on Tencent OS and supports both voice and gesture control.
In terms of functions, the Axon Watch can be used for both fitness and health monitoring, and supports phone calls, messaging, as well.
