Pioneer has announced the launch of AVIC-F80BT, its navigation-cum-entertainment system powered by Apple CarPlay at Rs 51,990.
The AVIC-F80BT features 17.8 cm touch screen with multi-colour LED display. The device supports with bluetooth, dual USB slots, touch slide cross-over settings and steering wheel control for several cars. Users can also play music using Pioneer AVIC-F80BT from CD-DVD, USB, SD, Radio, AUX, iPhone and Bluetooth.
The navigation system on the device has map data for more than 7000 cities and 500,000 towns and villages across India. Using the Hybrid positioning system, users can get turn-by-turn guidance. POIs, tAVIC maps that offer 3D view, junction view and signpost view are also available.
Gaurav Kulshrestha, Manager, Marketing and Product Planning, Pioneer India Electronics said, ‘The AVIC-F80BT is powered by Apple CarPlay which gives iPhone users an incredibly intuitive way to make calls, listen to music and access messages with just a word or touch. We have also introduced the HDMI feature which enables wired or Wireless projection of smartphones on the headunit using select Miracast dongles.”
The AVIC-F80BT also comes with a dual zone audio-video feature that allows passengers in the rear seat to enjoy content on additional rear seat monitors and headphones, even when the person on the front seat and driver is listening to something else.
