Panasonic announces HX-A1, a wearable waterproof camera at Rs 19,990

Panasonic has announced a light-weight wearable camera, HX-A1 at Rs 19,990. It is compact, weighs 45gms and can capture videos in full-HD mode.

Panasonic has announced a light-weight wearable camera, HX-A1 at Rs 19,990. It is compact, weighs 45gms and can capture videos in full-HD mode.

HX-A1 comes with 1/3 MOS sensor and can shoot videos at 2.87 MP. It can also capture still images at 2.66MP. The total pixel size of the camera sensor is 3.54 megapixels. It has 0 Lux night-mode and IR filter for clicking pictures effectively in low-light or at night.

HX-A1 also features a slow motion mode, which can shoot 60fps at 720p and 120fps at 480p. The camera supports MPEG-4 AVC format and a memory of upto 128GB via microSDXC card.

“The introduction of HX-A1 wearable camera defines Panasonic’s unrelenting pursuit of providing unmatched experience creating excitement in the action camera market,” said Gaurav Ghavri, Product Head, Panasonic India in a press statement.

The camera has a loop recording feature which allows it to save on storage. It is a WiFi enabled camera and can be mounted to a multi-purpose mount onto goggles, shoulder bags, helmets and tripods. It comes with a built-in battery of 3.7V and supports USB Type B.
