Wimbledon 2015 got its two women’s finalist on Thursday with Serena Williams beating Maria Sharapova 6-2 6-4 in the second semi-final. Earlier in the first semi-final, Spain’s Garbine Muguruza reached her first semi-final by beating Agnieszka Radwanska 6-2 3-6 6-3. For India, it was a sad day as Rohan Bopanna-Florin Mergea lost on the men’s doubles in a marathon five-setter 6-4 2-6 3-6 6-4 11-13. In the mixed doubles, Leander Paes-Martina Hingis cruised to the semis.
