It was a tense situation as the two exchanged verbal blows before Styles kick left the WWE Champion Ambrose in pain ahead of Sunday’s much-awaited match. The verbal contest went in Styles favour, and it now remains to be seen who has the last laugh come Backlash.
Heath Slater, Rhyno defeat The Hype Bros
Heath Slater and Rhyno combined well to get the better of Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley in an action-packed contest. It was the Gore from Rhyno which sealed the win for his team and they now find themselves just a win away from SmackDown Live contract and Tag Team title. The party is set to go on, but remains to be seen for how long! Also, American Alpha defeat The Usos in Tag Team Championship Tournament.

In a SummerSlam repeat, The Miz went head-to-head with Apollo Crews in a high-voltage contest, affected by intereferance. It was a high-quality contest before things took a different turn when Dolph Ziggler, Miz’s challenger for the Intercontinental Championship, got up from the announcer’s table. All Ziggler could manage was handing Miz some momentum. The Champion used Ziggler in his favour and distracted Crews. The win was sealed with the Skull-Crushing Finale.

Fandango’s music had an abrupt stop as much to the delight of the spectators and fans, he was Chokeslamed by Kane and the big red monster left the arena with a favour done to the WWE Universe.
