The 15th Summer Paralympics, which began on September 7 and ends on September 18, are taking place in Rio de Janeiro, where the Summer Olympics were also held. Paralympic games are held the same year as the Olympics, every four years since 1966 and is the biggest sporting event for athletes with disabilities. This year’s edition saw over 4,000 athletes from 161 countries taking part in it. Although the games haven’t been able to draw massive crowds compared to  what the Olympics have managed to do, the enduring sporting spirit that the athletes have displayed are nothing short.
