Hearing in Narsingh Yadav case adjourned till July 28, NADA yet to put their side

Narsingh Yadav will know his fate of going or not going to Rio 2016 Olympics on July 28 as National Anti-Doping Agency yet to put its side on Thursday.

Narsingh Yadav’s hearing will continue on Thursday after no decision was taken by Wednesday evening by the NADA. His chances of representing India at Rio 2016 Olympics are increasingly getting cold after he failed a second dope test on Wednesday.
Freestyle wrestler failed a second dope test conducted by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) on July 5. He had earlier failed the first test, which was carried out on June 25. He was a top medal contender at Rio Olympics.

Although his lawyers seems to be satisfied with the panel and the hearing and hopes the wrestler will get a clean sheet on Thrusday.

“Nada to put forward their argument tomorrow. Decision likely. Satisfied with the panel and the hearing,” said Narsingh lawyer

Narsingh who claimed that his food supplement was spiked has also been found untrue, but a teenage wrestler suspected of spiking his food supplements was identified and is yet to be taken under custody for investigation.

Meanwhile in his support, fans from Yadav’s village have come out in support, after his family alleged a conspiracy.

Narsingh had tested positive for banned anabolic steroid – methandienone. If Narsingh does not get the green signal from NADA, Parveen Rana has already been named as his replacement.
