Eid Mubarak: Sports stars convey wishes on Twitter and Instagram

Sports celebrities celebrate Eid-ul-Azha with traditional gaiety and fervour and wish their fans and followers on social media.

Eid-ul-Azha was celebrated with traditional gaiety and fervour across the country as Muslims thronged mosques for prayers and exchanged greetings on the holy day.

Hordes of people visited mosques and idgahs in the national capital to offer prayers on Eid this morning kickstarting festivities on the auspicious occasion.

Many players took to their social accounts to wish their fans and shared how the sports personalities celebrated the fest.

Shaniera Akram, wife of Former Pakistan great Wasim, tweeted by saying that, “Love & blessings to all across the world on EidulAdha. Wishing all a safe & joyful day with family & friends. Eid Mubarak from The Akrams.”

Meanwhile, West Indies power hitter, Chris Gayle wished his fans on the occasion of Eidul Adha and said that, “Eid Mubarak to all my muslim friends and fans. Have a blessed day! #OneLove y’all invited to CG6Party on Friday.”

Also, Irfan Pathan shared a photo of him in Blue traditional attire, wishing his fans on the auspcious day of Eidul Adha on his Instagram handle.

In the long list, India’s current head coach, Anil Kumble also wished his fellow muslim fans and in his tweet the former Indian cricketer said that, ” Eid Mubarak everyone. Be happy and stay blessed!”
