After Paul van Ass’ controversial departure, India men’s hockey assistant coach Jude Felix resigns

Assistant coach Jude Felix tendered his resignation hours after Harbinder Singh-led nine-member committee recommended that Van Ass should not be continued.

India men’s hockey assistant coach Jude Felix has resigned hours after the Harbinder Singh-led committee recommended that Paul van Ass should not be continued as the coach. There was no formal announcement yet as the committee’s job was to only give their recommendations on the matter.

Felix’s resignation leaves India without a coach and assistant coach an year before 2016 Olympics.

    Indian Hockey is bound to suffer if its non-professional chief like Narinder Batra force the expulsion of professional coach like Paul van who had to face the music at his instance. Another bad day for the Indian sports. Let all these sports bodies be brought under RTI Act, 2005 so the truth may finally be known to the people across the country.
