Dudu’s hat trick has effectively gone in vain as Chennaiyin FC’s chances of making it to the play offs are now slender. They have gone for broke in this match and it did seem like they would wrestle the three points from their opponents after all but a 95th minute goal is something that no team can come back from conceding.

NorthEast United will be a motivated bunch after managing to come back three times in the match. This might just turn out to be what they need to push on in their remaining fixtures.
